The realisation of a long held dream was almost too exciting to contain! Finally a visit to the home and gardens restored and created by the complex and very interesting Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson. And what a stroke of luck...we hit the ONLY Wednesday of the year that Sissinghurst opens to the public...totally by accident!!
