To and from Schloss Neuschwanstein, Germany

First stop, a very misty Starnbergersee...The Alps just visible in the background

then Staffelsee

Stopped for coffee in example of the exquisitely painted public and private buildings of Bavaria

The internal decorations of a Bavarian church

And finally Schloss Neuschwanstein, one of King Ludwig II's castles...surrounded in mist

The views from within the castle grounds show how difficult the construction must have been!

Can you see the three-legged hooded figure tied to the tree? It's actually bark and roots!

Then dinner in the charming town of Landsberg on the way home.
